Hi, I’m Syra Shad.
I started my creative journey in 2016. I picked up a camera, not knowing where I would end up, but so grateful to be where I am today.
I began tackling event and performance photography. I fell in love with creativity and began to see my creative eye. In 2017, I was asked to join a graphic design team at my university. From then, I have developed many skills in the world of graphic design and digital media.
I have two passions: helping people & creativity. I hope to obtain a role where I am able to take my formal education and implement it into graphic design and marketing material to be aesthetically pleasing and informational.

Outside of work…
I have a 2 year old Lab German Shepherd mix named Leo and a 6 year old rescue named Otis (we think he is part Rottie!). They are my best friends.
I love exploring new places, appreciating good food and films and always looking for opportunities to better myself as an individual!
I was born and raised in the Seattle area and moved to Southern California a few years back. I grew up coming to California for family visits, so it has always felt like a second home!
I also love to travel! I have been to several countries and states, but would love to explore more. As of June 2024, I am open for travel for photography!
